The Rrustic Casting Way is about recycling your world of stuff, its a view of the world that thinks about minimizing the foot print you leave behind.
In the current times of change in the face of the 21st century there has blossomed for the last few years a woman with a mission to help you all become more RRUSTIC.
This movement started in The BLUE BANANA in KENSINGTON MARKET but grew out of that into a 2000sq.ft. space also in KENSINGTON called
RRUSTIC which was located at 148 Augusta st.
Where it remained for over a year until the ECO-BLUES got a hold of it and took'er'down. Thus, Sadly RRUSTIC CLOSED July 2009, although her lovely creation was not the only victim of this stage of the economic semi depression...& YET that did not curb the enthusiasm or the resilience of the Artisan behind it. AySes Dunya decided from the moment that RRUSTIC started that her interactive studio and workroom that took in CLIENT'S FURNITURE to be REPAIRED/REFURBISHED would be more
than just about buying and selling.
She also presented an environmental cause towards
ENCOURAGING THE IDEAS of recycling
everything that we have instead of buying WAY TOO MUCH MASSES OF STUFF!!!!
which with mass production being the main suppliers of the MASSES OF STUFF, well...AySes felt that there was a need to really make a break from living
ONLY IN THE MASS PRODUCTION WORLD.
As an Artisan with a few different disciplines she felt the need in her soul to create ART
that is useful, functional, helpful.
To apply her love of textures to different formats such as FURNITURE, CLOTHING, BOOKS, JEWELLERY, ACCESSORIES, HOME DECOR, INSTRUMENTS.
There is no item she cannot tackle! with voice and verve she redefines the viewpoint of your thought process on ART & HOME LIFE.
"How you feel today makes or breaks your day tomorrow, and the beauty of your home, your temple is not just about being in the lap of luxury, its a necessity to feeding your being the right food!"
Defining what you are is by where you sleep, rest, grow, and take care to yourself.
